I was in customer service for over 45 years before becoming a travel advisor - I spent a couple of decades working as a Retail Manager in the UK and Australia before deciding to try something new, becoming a Travel Advisor in 2015. I’m so glad I made the change; I love working in the travel industry and plan on doing so until no longer able to! I'm honoured to be an independent affiliate of Frontier Travel, a member of Virtuoso (an organisation of the top travel agencies, providers, and destinations Worldwide).
I'm continuously learning about new and existing products - small ship cruising, expedition cruising, small group touring, boutique hotels, etc, anything suitable for Gen X and older. I have just achieved my CLIA Masters (Cruise Lines International Association) and I'm ranked in their Top 200 Agents in Australia (and less than 2% of agents Worldwide are at Masters level).
I generally use an experienced specialist for selling flights as a standalone item otherwise I can do everything else travel-related for you, including travel insurance. I solely focus on leisure clients so there are no corporate accounts to look after. I look after many solo female travellers, mature couples, and multi-generational families, partly due to my 6 years of looking after residents of Independent Living villages in Newstead, Brisbane.
I'm about to launch "Wayfinder Women" for women who might be travelling solo but don't wish to be alone. Wayfinder Women will host escorted tours and cruises, provide a travel buddy-sharing service if required, and provide easy access to information about solo travel, including current offers.
My website is undergoing a makeover, resulting in a fresh look and new functions, such as a book now facility for quicker depositing and a message function. My previous cruise search engine is also about to be transformed, which will be added later in the year, once development is complete.
Peace of mind - please note that my business is fully insured through Lockton Companies Australia Pty Ltd (“Lockton”) and has never had to put in a single claim, for any reason, since the business started. Also, Frontier Travel is ATAS travel accredited, meaning that business is conducted in compliance with Australian Consumer Law, per the ATAS Charter and Code of Conduct.

Sarah ensured that every aspect of my recent complicated six week holiday went smoothly. I had nothing to organise except my suitcase. Sarah is an amazing person - genuine and caring about her clients. She checked in with me at various times and at one point rearranged my itinerary to better suit my needs. I'm disabled so she went to great lengths to ensure that my hotels were going to be suitable for me. At one point I needed changes and Sarah offered some interesting alternatives which made my trip more interesting. This entailed quick responses and ongoing communication. The best thing is that she never seems tired of advising and helping people organise their travel even dealing with very vague plans like mine.

Sarah is a true professional. She listens to what I want to see in my travels, and translates this into amazing options for me to choose from. She offers a wide range of options with a variety of providers so that my specific needs are catered for. For example, I want to travel through Europe in 2023. Sarah has come up with some fantastic cruises (with different cruise lines) so that I can cover off on lots of places on my 'bucket list'. The best thing about Sarah is that she listens to what I want to see and doesn't try to 'sell' me something that isn't suitable. She can offer the whole package - from cruises, land trips, arrange travel insurance, tours and flights.

Sarah was amazing organising everything for us right down to the last detail for our family holiday to France and Italy. Nothing was too much trouble for Sarah and when our plans had to change due to a family situation, Sarah went above and beyond to rebook and reorganise our travel arrangements. Sarah genuinely cares for her clients to make sure there is nothing left to chance. We will always use Sarah for all our future travel plans - big or small.
