Regent Seven Seas Navigator visits Brisbane

When Seven Seas Navigator called into Brisbane, there was a rare opportunity to do a small ship inspection locally. Having recently sailed on her (younger) sister Explorer, I was excited to get on board and see how they differed, as all Regent’s ships each have their own style and feel.

Navigator is one of the older and smaller ships in Regent’s fleet (the youngest being Grandeur, which launched just a few weeks ago) and she’s one of 3 that’s sailed in our region this season. She seems to have aged very well - a grand dame with classic styling (with a nod to the Art Deco period), providing an intimate experience that would be particularly suitable for any solo travellers, as well as couples wanting to reconnect. Guests could certainly have the chance to get to know the crew and other passengers should they so wish. Alternatively, if you’re more of an introvert or not feeling particularly social, there are numerous cosy spots to sit and contemplate.

Sadly, we couldn’t view any cabins as she was sailing at full capacity, but after viewing the public areas, we were treated to an amazing lunch, the Sommelier matching wonderful wines to our different courses. The white wine pictured is officially the loveliest white wine I’ve ever had, and the house Champagne is one of my favourites!

I specialise in Luxury Travel and Cruising, so if you're wondering which Regent Seven Seas Cruise is right for you, let's chat.
