Majestic Princess for Families

I recently hopped aboard the Majestic Princess and was thrilled to be back on this stunning ship.

It's just six years old (built in 2017) and offers a blend of Big Ship Choice with a Small Ship Feel.

One of Princess' lesser-known secrets is their onboard kids clubs. While they might not immediately come to mind for family cruising or multi-generational holidays, I highly recommend checking them out. Despite no slides, dodgem cars, or roller skating, their kids and teenage centres are amazing and divided into three zones:

  • Treehouse for 3-7 years: This area offers pyjama movie nights, arts and crafts, and playful activities with Lego sets.
  • The Lodge for 8-12 year-olds: Inspired by the outdoors, kids stay engaged with games, dancing, Skee-Ball, Foosball, and educational programs from the California Science Centre.
  • The Beach House for 13 to 17 year-olds: This space is a teenager's lounge for socialising and hanging out. Perfect for late-night movies, video games, and sports competitions such as Dodgeball and Basketball. They also host exclusive Rock the Boat teen parties featuring awards and non-alcoholic mocktails.

There are also plenty of opportunities to spend quality time together, such as:

  • Sign up for trivia shows and talent shows
  • Play games at Family game night or a lively themed carnival in the Piazza
  • Head to Movies Under the Stars for Family Movie Night
