On Safari in Kenya

A safari has been on my bucket list forever, so this was to be a memorable trip. 

I was lucky enough to visit Kenya with Bench Africa in 2024.  I fell in love with Africa; the people, the animals and the culture.   

Here are my top highlights:

• On day 1 of our safari, we saw elephants and giraffes within a few minutes of entering the game park of Sateo East. 
• To be able to spend 10 days in 5 different National Parks and see all the Big 5 was amazing. 
• To experience seeing Mount Kilimanjaro from the bed in our camp tent was spectacular. 
• Meeting the Maasai Warriors and hot air ballooning over the Maasai Mara was something I always dreamed of doing. 
• Lions, cheetahs and leopards are such strong, amazing animals, and to be so close is breathtaking. 

If you have ever dreamed of doing a safari talk to me today. I can not wait to head back and visit again. Travelling to Africa takes on a whole new adventure and gives you the power to tell amazing stories, it also keeps a piece of your soul.
