We took a trip over to Queensland in the April school holidays to see some family in Bundaberg. We flew into Brisbane, spent a few days there (with one day at Movie World on the Gold Coast) then drove up to Bundy.
After a week, we drove back down the coast to Caloundra for a few days, stopping in at Maryborough and Hervey Bay along the way before heading back to Brisbane to fly home.
The kids loved swimming at 'The Basin' in Bargara (just outside Bundaberg) and exploring the beach and rock pools at Elliott Heads Beach. Make sure you stop in at Tinaberries for some delicious ice cream on the way back from Elliott Heads Beach.
