Florence is the capital of arts, with UNESCO stating that 60% of the world's most important works of art are located in Italy, and approximately half of these are in Florence.
But not all art is kept in the museums! Florence has a huge street art scene, here are just a couple of examples of the amazing art you can see around the streets. We saw quite a few pieces by Clet (who also has a shop in the Oltrarno District), most are very entertaining, and quite a few by Exit/Enter.
We had a great time while we were walking around Florence trying to find all of the hidden gems.
