It is definitely a firm favourite of mine.. And although I have been there many times over, it never disappoints.
From panoramic train windows, you'll fall in love with the scenery. You'll spend your days outdoors exploring mountains, taking in a thermal spa, or participating in any of the adventure sports on offer. I do think you need to have a love for Cheese, though. Raclette, Fondue anyone? Did I mention the really, really good chocolate?
And then there is Christmas time. Switzerland buzzes with the festive spirit with many Christmas Markets to be found. Absolute musts include Montreux and the many markets that line the streets of Zurich.
