Going on a Disney Cruise is not so much for the destination, but for the journey as these ships (we were on the Disney Wonder) are a destination in themselves.
The entertainment, the shows, the Kids Club, the food with a presentation to create magic second to none, not to mention meeting the characters - everything is just magical. The shows were next level. Something for everyone. The Kids Club was incredible, and my kids didn't want to leave.
Disney Cruises are for everyone - couples, families, friends - young and old. Travelling with our kids and seeing their eyes light up at all the magic was amazing, but it was also great to experience some adult-only time and make use of the Kids Club and Babysitter Service. We were able to do all the things we wanted to do due to a very helpful app that allowed us to follow along with all the activities, shows, movies, and fun things happening.
I would highly recommend a Disney Cruise for everyone who loves all things Mickey and friends and who would love to have this once-in-a-lifetime experience. With the Australian and New Zealand summer season, you can experience this magical journey close to home without adding flight costs to your budget. Great when taking the kids, as time difference and jetlag won't be holding you back from enjoying Disney.
