Amazing Dubai | Adventure, Luxury and Wonder

Dubai isn’t just a stopover—it’s a destination worth exploring on its own.

After spending six days discovering the best this city has to offer, I can confidently say that you could visit twice a year and still uncover something new! With endless experiences, stunning hotels in every price range, and near-perfect temperatures from November to March, Dubai is a must-visit.

My Highlights & Recommendations - Top 7 Things to do in Dubai

🌸 Miracle Garden
A fairytale wonderland bursting with over 150 million flowers in stunning designs and sculptures. Walking through this vibrant paradise feels like stepping into a dream—an absolute must-see! (Note: it is open from mid-November till April)

🏙️ Burj Khalifa & Fountain Show
The view from the world’s tallest building is breathtaking, but don’t miss the fountain show at sunset—pure magic as the water dances in sync with the music against the golden glow of the setting sun.

🏜️ Desert Safari
The right tour makes all the difference here! I’ve done two very different safaris, and choosing the right one elevates the experience from good to unforgettable. Experience Bedouin culture on a morning desert safari with camel rides, vintage Land Rovers, traditional breakfast, storytelling, and authentic Emirati performances.

🎭 La Perle Show
No YouTube video could have prepared me for how incredible this show is in real life! A mix of breathtaking acrobatics, water stunts, and immersive storytelling, La Perle is hands-down one of the best performances I’ve ever seen.

🌊 Atlantis The Palm
If you're looking for a luxury escape within Dubai, this is it! Whether you’re with friends, your partner, or the whole family, Atlantis is an experience in itself. With its world-class water park, marine adventures, and gourmet dining, it’s worth a three-night stopover just to soak it all in.

🛍️ The Souks
Start your morning at the souks early for a peaceful experience—grab a coffee and enjoy the charm of Old Dubai before the hustle and bustle begins. Whether it’s gold, spices, or textiles, the souks are a fantastic way to immerse yourself in Dubai’s rich culture.

🏨 One & Only Royal Mirage – A Stay to Remember
I spent one unforgettable night at this breathtaking resort, and it’s a bucket-list-worthy experience! With its stunning Arabian architecture, lush gardens, private beach, and world-class service, this hotel is pure luxury and elegance. If you want a truly special stay in Dubai, this is it!

My Top Tips for Dubai Holidays:

  • Start saving early – Dubai is an expensive city, so planning your budget in advance helps make the most of your trip.
  • Bargain at the souks – Don’t be shy! Haggling is expected, and if you do it with a bit of fun, you can grab some fantastic deals.
  • Burj Khalifa crowds – Since it’s a highlight for many tourists, it can get very busy. Visit during the week, not on weekends, for a better experience.
  • Use a WISE travel card – Load up with UAE dirhams for easy transactions and the best exchange rates. You can convert currencies instantly without extra fees.
  • Take your time at Dubai Mall – It’s more than just a shopping centre! Shopping, dining, ice skating, the aquarium, and more—it’s an experience in itself, so set aside enough time to explore.

Dubai is truly a destination where there’s always something new to discover. Whether it’s your first visit or your fifth, it never ceases to amaze!
