I love to travel and have travelled extensively for business and pleasure. I have experienced all types of travel, from skiing in Japan, hiking in Australia, Sailing in Australia, Scuba Diving in Maldives and Australia, and cooking classes in France, Germany, Thailand, Vietnam, Korea and Japan.
I love cruising and can't wait to get back to cruising again either river or ocean cruising. I have cruised many times to the South Pacific, USA, Mexico, Europe and Australia.
I LOVE JAPAN and have travelled to Japan several times and travelled throughout Japan including Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, Kanazawa, Takayama, Matsumoto, Hiroshima, Sapporo, Hakodate, Furano and ski resorts in Hakuba and Niseko. I love planning your trip throughout Japan organising all accommodation, transfers, tours, train and skiing activities. I have established contacts in Japan to assist with booking all your transfers, tours, and cooking schools and I have a long list of my favourite eating places and bars to visit.
I have recently returned from 5 weeks in Europe and one week in Korea. I experience beautiful Finland and Estonia in Spring with all the beautiful national parks and medieval cities. Next was staying in Stressa and Verona for a week and enjoying some of the best Italian food before arriving in Venice for a week of river cruising around the Venice Lagoon with Uniworld. What a unique experience it was to see all the small islands and towns around exciting Venice. From there, we used our Eurail pass to travel through Italy to Austria and Switzerland to commence our Emerald River cruise from Basel to Amsterdam. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing the Anne Frank house, something I had wanted to do for a long time. After another couple more days in Helsinki it was off to Korea.
Korea was fabulous, the people, the food, culture, scenery, history, so much to see and do. After a few nights in the exciting city of Seoul we then travelled around the west side of Korea for 4 days to Busan and then back to Seoul A highlight was visiting the DMZ zone on the border to North Korea and all the fabulous markets in Seoul. The food and shopping were amazing.
Last year I travelled to the Philippines as a guest of the Philippine Tourist Authority and visited many of the beautiful resorts and islands of the Philippines including Coron, El Nido, Nacpan Beach, Puerto Princesa and Manila. Experienced some of the best snorkelling at these beautiful island resorts. Highly recommend the Philippines if you love unspoilt island resorts with some of the best diving and snorkelling.
