I had the opportunity a few years ago to follow my dreams and create a new career as a Travel Designer, rather than a Fashion Designer. 

Maybe you could call it a mid-life awakening! Travel had been a hobby of mine for many years and when I was made redundant at the age of 51, I retrained and qualified as a Travel Agent. This has given me my dream career as I open the world up for my clients by designing amazing travel experiences.

As a Travel Designer, I create itineraries for my clients which include authentic local experiences, culture, nature, wildlife, good food and wine, with a sustainable and ethical focus. When I get to know you, I will be able to make recommendations which suit your travel style and personalities. 

The destinations I specialise in are the Nordic countries and North America. Having worked at a Summer Camp in Connecticut for 4 summers, I've had the opportunity to extensively explore the USA through road trips and rail journeys. It also allowed me to indulge my Disneyland obsession! I'm also fortunate to have family in Finland, who I have visited in all seasons.
