I am an African Safari expert and International Travel Consultant with over 20 years experience. As your Personal Travel Manager, I have a passion for creating seamless bucket-list holidays and supporting my clients with great service from planning your holiday through to support while you’re away. I live in Hervey Bay, so can meet you in person if you live locally, or we can talk at your convenience over the phone. I specialise in African Safaris, Seniors Travel, Tours and Bespoke Holidays, but I am able to book all types of holidays.
Growing up travelling around Southern Africa, I am a passionate expert in travel to Southern and East Africa. I have visited countless wilderness areas in Africa, and am able to build you the perfect African Safari, supported by my own personal experience. I have also travelled extensively through Europe and USA, both independently, and on a range of tours and cruises. I would love to share my knowledge and experience with you. With just a simple phone call or email, let me assist you in making your travel arrangements come to life.
Where I've Travelled:
Africa: South Africa, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana, Mozambique, Malawi, Morocco. I’ve also seen the Great Wildebeest Migration in Kenya and Tanzania, and Travelled to the islands of Zanzibar, Mauritius and Seychelles.
Australia: From Tasmania to Cape York, from Perth to Sydney, From Broken Hill to the Barrier Reef – I’ve traversed all corners of our great country.
America: Having lived in Tennessee, I’ve enjoyed road-tripping across the breadth of the United States, and have a particular love of the National Parks (My favourite is Yosemite), mountains and wide open spaces. I've explored Canada's rocky mountains aboard the Rocky Mountaineer, and been snowboarding in both the USA and Canada.
Europe: I’ve travelled extensively across Europe by rail, coach and cruise. I’m drawn to the incredible ancient and modern history of the continent as well as all the different food, wine and cultures. My favourites are the UK, Ireland, Germany, Spain, France, Italy, Czech Republic, Hungary and Turkey.

Ruan helped plan our family trip to Italy for our family. There were a total of 4 bookings all going to different places and meeting up on several occasions along the way. Ruan handled all our bookings and we all had the most amazing trip. Ruan really paid attention to the things we wanted to do and organised everything so we could relax and enjoy once we boarded that plane.It was so handy to have the app with all our booking information in one place. It also gave us information on places to see and maps of the areas we were visiting.From Venice to Sicily then over to Greece everything was well planned and we had the best time. Thanks for all your assistance. You really did help make our trip amazing with so many special memories for us all. We all had such a great time. We appreciated your knowledge and advice in making the holiday tailored to suit our needs. Your suggestions for locations and accommodation to meet our budget were fantastic.
