Walking the Kimberley region of WA

Mental therapy is getting back to nature.  The Kimberley region provides an awe-inspiring backdrop to regenerate and recharge.

Walking in manageable chunks each day, then returning to beautiful accommodation (I am really not a camper!). Fabulous meals each day. Small group of like-minded travellers, what a way to discover my own amazing state.

This is Western Australia, and these are my highlights!

Walking Whip Snake Gorge
A beautiful walk across the dry river bed, with the domes of Purnululu surrounding us before reaching Whip Snake Gorge. Around 14km walked today.

Cathedral Gorge
An easy, tranquil walk into Cathedral Gorge in Purnululu National Park.

Echidna Chasm
The awe inspiring might of nature. Echidna Chasm in perspective.

El Questro Gorge
A rocky clamber to this tranquil freshwater pool. Well worth the walk for this cool off.

Emma Gorge El Questro Station
The 2nd time I have done this walk through Emma Gorge to find myself in the freshest most beautiful swimming pool there is!
