As a travel agent with many years of industry experience behind me, I would have to say that my focus now is all about ensuring that every client is both happy with their travel plans and happy to refer me to others.
Starting out as a Travel Consultant in New Zealand in 1979, the industry is considerably more fast-paced than it was back then however, I have made sure the adages of honesty and trust are still the backbone of our business. My work and travel has seen me based in Adelaide, Sydney and Auckland and a few years in London, along with travel to the USA, the Caribbean, South and North Africa, Asia, including skiing in Japan and the USA. I have also travelled to the South Pacific, Canada, Alaska and of course Australia and New Zealand along with Europe and the United Kingdom. Add in the many cruises over the years with P&O, Royal Caribbean, Princess, Norwegian, Cunard and Celebrity Cruises, there is a good chance my experience and knowledge can help you find the perfect holiday. Add in a passion for complicated airfares!
Settling in Melbourne eventually and buying a travel business in Blackburn in the eastern suburbs, some 20 years on, it was time for a move to be closer to family. Over the years, I have been blessed to meet so many wonderful clients, many who have become friends and who still book with me and our business today. I believe very strongly in an ethical approach to business and that ultimately everyone deserves to get the best value available for whatever they are buying.
Now based in Mount Duneed, Geelong, I am happy to share my experiences, point people in the right direction, provide assistance and look forward to meeting you to help plan your next trip.

Tim has looked after our travel needs for many years and has proved to be knowledgeable, resourceful and helpful, on many occasions. As an example, immediately after 9/11 we were in London with important engagements to follow in Egypt. Air traffic in the area was in chaos, but Tim got us to Cairo via Vienna and then home again from there.We have travelled extensively throughout the world on both business and pleasure and I have never been able to fault him. I used to ‘muddle’ through making my own travel arrangements, until a friend recommended Tim Lawry and he has been my travel agent ever since. I would not even consider anyone else. Tim’s knowledge and expertise in all aspects of the travel industry was obvious to me from the start. He is honest and caring, and together with his easy manner and excellent communication skills, he instilled in me complete and lasting confidence.He can be absolutely relied on and is always readily available as a source of reference and support if needed……..and I have had to call on him for assistance during my travels when my plans needed to change unexpectedly, and his support and ability to reorganise things at short notice was such a huge comfort. Tim Lawry has been my security in travelling to my daughter in USA regularly for decades. He has always been extremely helpful and reassuring and I will always continue dealing with him as long as I am able to travel. Cannot speak too highly of Tim in all aspects of travel.

We were so fortunate to have Tim Lawry organise our recent trip to England, Scotland, Norway and Iceland. His attention to detail and superb understanding of flight scheduling meant that we had a stress-free holiday. Tim helped me organise the important details of a pleasure ski trip to japan. His intimate knowledge of Tokyo and the ski fields was second to none. All the transfer timings, directions through Tokyo airport to the correct train station and transfers to our hotel in Hukaba were spot on. He knew where to hire the ski equipment and where to stay and eat.What's great about Tim, is that he lets you lead the holiday plans and he gives so many suggestions along the way.We also booked a New Zealand holiday with him, that had to be cancelled due to Covid-19 boarder restrictions. He went above and beyond to get out deposit back. Tim is now our travel agent for good and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

Tim has helped me organise multiple family/ Mum / daughter experience trips. When you have teenagers and parents with different ideas about what is rated as special, Tim went over and beyond to assist with organising surprise events and complicated airline connections so that everyone had the memorable trip and surprises that will be remembered.When things didn’t go to plan, such was his genuine interest in our holiday itinerary, that he was onto it and gave us the confidence that we had the back up of help from home.A great measure of service is the attention you receive when things don’t always go to plan and the level of care Tim demonstrated was over and beyond my expectation.
