Growing up, and travelling back and forth to Europe to visit relatives; the joy of travel and discovering new place was with me from a very early age. It is no surprise then that I ended up in the Travel Industry, working for an airline, as it was the only way I could continue to follow my passion! I spent 15 years enjoying various roles at Australian Airlines and Qantas before eventually leaving to start a family. Not wanting to lose contact with the industry, I took a part-time position close to home in a suburban Travel Agency in Essendon, Victoria and spent 3 years learning all the ins and outs of the retail side of the business. I then went on to lecture at a Travel Training College in Melbourne for a short time, before eventually realising I wanted to work my own hours and run my own show; TravelManagers was the perfect vehicle for that.
After over 12 years , I now have a long list of loyal clients to whom I provide a unique level of service. I am available to meet them when and where it suits them, and that means not necessarily during normal business hours. Working as a Personal Travel Manager allows me to have (and take) the time to really create detailed and seamless itineraries, that suit my clients needs AND their budget.

My wife and I have been assisted by Karin Evert for around 10 years for both business and leisure travel in Australia and Internationally. We cannot recommend her highly enough for flight, hotel, appartment and tour bookings. Karin is attentive to detail, is flexible and offers a wonderful personalised service.In 2020 we had already booked a trip to France just prior to the lockdown. Karin worked very hard in successfully advocating full refunds of our travel expense. Karin has provided us with professional, reliable and timely travel arrangements for many years. Karin is great to work with, exploring alternative ideas that we hadn’t thought of, to achieve the best deals. Her friendly approach takes the stress away and at a cost efficient price. During the Covid lockdown we were particularly appreciative of Karin’s incredible hard work in recovering various fares for international travel and tours which did not go ahead.

Karin was recommended by a friend who had utilised her services and had been very happy. We also found her to be an excellent listener, a great communicator, very organised and professional. She was very knowledgeable and had lots of ideas and recommendations. She sourced and organised terrific flights, accommodation and a cruise. She was prompt with email replies and communicated everything clearly and professionally.When the COVID pandemic hit, a couple of weeks before we were due to leave on our trip, Karin's calmness, helpfulness, persistence and guidance was truly amazing. With her help, time and expertise, she was able to recover every recoverable item from our itnierary. Her service is truly Number One.
