I would like to write to write a review on my recent dealings with Mark Gaines the owner of Holiday Roads.Mark helped me plan my recent trip to Canada and Alaska. Mark was incredible knowledgeable and followed by brief to the absolute letter. Mark provided me with many helpful footnotes regarding the estimated time and cost involved in getting to and from our accommodation together with notes regarding car hire and extra charges etc. I know from dealing with previous travel agents that this is definitely not something that the larger companies provide, and it was extremely helpful.I made many changes to the Itinerary, but nothing was a problem for Mark, and he went above and beyond making sure that I was entirely happy with the final itinerary and plans for my trip.I received both a hard copy of my itinerary together with an App on my phone. The App was incredibly handy as it updated any changes made to flights and was a wonderful help in keeping track of my trip.Great job Mark.
Mark is very knowledgeable, experienced and didn't shy away from looking at a couple of different options when I wasn't sure of where I wanted to go and was awaiting responses from friends and family in the States to see if they were around when I might be flying through. Once we had a chat and got to know what I was looking for, he was a master at suggesting which airlines might work best for me (2 x free luggage) and providing smart alternatives to suit my budget. He was patient and responsive when I asked for potential changes in my flights and also updated me on Covid testing etc as the rules changed. I highly recommend him!

I have traveled many times through Mark and recommend his high level of specialised service. I like to travel often and to interesting places (Alaska, Cuba, America, Mexico, Hawaii, Europe, New Zealand, Cook Islands, etc). He organises all aspects so all that I have to do is pack my bags and enjoy my trip! He takes the stress out of arrangements and makes great recommendations for places to visit and tours which meet my needs. He researches accommodation thoroughly and delivers packages that meet budget. If you are looking for someone who will take the time to tailor a holiday to your needs, I recommend Mark as a highly expert professional to organise your next trip.

Mark has designed and implemented several itineraries for myself and my family, and each one has been a great success.Mark takes the time to listen and provides advice and assistance every step of the way.His personal experience in travelling the world is certainly evident, and he usually has first-hand experiences of the attractions and potential pitfalls of most destinations. He does his research thoroughly and curates personalised bespoke itineraries for independent-minded travellers, which flow very efficiently and make maximum use of time and resources.Because of this, Mark is super competitive in all facets of international and domestic travel, highly recommend him.
