I started working in the Travel Industry to help people have lasting travel memories. I realised that I always look back with fond memories of holidays spent with my family when I was young, and now with the holidays spent with my own husband and adult kids.
In the past few years, I have travelled through seven different states in Australia. In 2021 I travelled to Tasmania with my mother and daughter and we all had a fantastic time. I was also one of the early Australian visitors to New Zealand in May 2022 after they had lifted the travel bans associated with COVID-19 (there were still some strict requirements for testing in place). I travelled with my friend from NZ who has her own tour company. She does local tours around Auckland and also Korea and Japan. Tasmania and New Zealand are the most amazing places to visit and the people have been lovely and welcoming. I've also travelled to North Queensland a couple of times, both on a cruise and a car trip with my family. We cruised to New Zealand last year on Ovation of the Seas and this year we did a Southern Australia wine cruise from Sydney to Victoria and South Australia on Celebrity Edge. What a fabulous ship! I also did a cruise on Virgin Voyages Resilient Lady in February with a friend. We loved the ship, but the shows weren't my "sort of thing".
Today marks the two-year anniversary of my return from Switzerland on a Travel Agents Familiarisation trip. It was the most amazing experience of my life. I fell in love with the country! There was so much snow and I loved it! The people were amazing and so helpful. However, I was sick with a virus from the time that I landed in Zurich and I came down with Covid two days before the end of my trip. I was still very sick on my trip home and it took me a long time to get over it. I now know the complexities of travel insurance and can impart much wisdom on this matter.
My family and I all love cruising. It's great when your kids are grown up as they can go do their own thing, while you do yours. There is so much to do on a cruise and you'll never be bored, plus you can relax when you want to relax! There's plenty for young kids to do and the kids' clubs on most ships provide plenty of opportunities for your children to make friends. I also love land vacations. There's nothing better than a car trip with the Family! Organised tours are great for seeing so many things in such a short time. The information that the guides impart to you is amazing. You learn so much.
What's on my bucket list you may ask? Canada with an Alaskan cruise!!! I also want to travel to the USA and also to England and Ireland to chase up my family history. I very much want to return to Switzerland and tour through at my own pace without being sick and have my husband with me to enjoy this amazing place. I will add Austria, Italy and maybe Germany to the mix.
As I'm a home-based agent with my own business, it's easier for me to tailor your travel to suit you. It can all be done online or I can come and meet you in person and we can discuss where you want to travel, when you want to travel, how you want to travel and why you want to travel. These past few years I have had clients travelling to the Red Centre, Tasmania, New Zealand, Fiji, the UK, Ireland and Europe. In the client mix for next year, I have clients travelling to New Zealand, Canada, Alaska, Fiji, Austria, Switzerland and Italy, along with Australian travel.
I aim to help you travel to places where you want to visit and have the most wonderful travel memories that are unique and memorable for all the right reasons.
