Brett & Kate Goulston have owned and run Blue Dot Travel since 2011 when they purchased a small hobby travel business in a different name. Since then, they have turned Blue Dot into a substantial, well regarded, niche travel operator with 5 staff and another 10 tour leaders. Personally, Brett has visited over 100 countries around the world, many of them on multiple occasions.
Blue Dot Travel runs small-group tours to unique destinations worldwide. Their average group size is 12 comprising mainly of mature-age, savvy travellers who are looking for less mainstream destinations. Their business also manages family tours and private tour groups.
Prior to running Blue Dot Travel, Brett spent two years running the Sydney office of a Brisbane based trekking and adventure company. Prior to that, Brett spent almost 30 years in advertising where, for the latter 15 years, he ran his own highly successful business developing and managing advertising for many famous local and international brands.
Brett and Kate live in Sydney. They have two daughters who, when little, were dragged around the world on many occasions given their parent’s passion for travel.
