Being a passionate water lover whether it be scuba diving, snorkeling or free diving I get to do what I love. As the owner of Allways Dive Expeditions, I have been fortunate to visit many countries since I commenced in the travel industry thirty years ago.
Our travel agency has a major focus on the Pacific region including wonderful countries such as the Solomon Islands, Papua New Guinea, Vanuatu, New Caledonia, Palau, Pohnpei, Truk Lagoon, Tonga, Tahiti, Niue and Fiji. All of these countries I have visited on numerous occasions.
Within Asia there are some amazing scuba diving destinations including Borneo, Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia, East Timor and Brunei. All of these destinations I have also visited on a number of occasions.
Our own backdoor being Australia and New Zealand offers some underrated diving experiences including our own Great Barrier Reef, Exmouth, Christmas Island, Cocos Keeling Island and Lord Howe Island.
Egypt would have to be one of my favourite destinations both above and below the water. The antiquities around Cairo, combined with a Nile Cruise and then diving off Hurghada is a two-week trip you should definitely put on your bucket list.
