My paternal grandparents were avid travellers and from the age of 4 I listened to their tales of exciting travel experiences all over the world…from Pompeii to Paris.
My father continued with their love of travel and as a family, we travelled the world for years.
Is it no wonder I became a Travel Agent in 1976 as ’travel’ is definitely in my blood.
Being a travel agent in Rockhampton now for over 45 years I have clients from all three generations: Retired Seniors, Baby Boomers and Generations X Y and Z.
Having owned and operated large multi-staffed agencies such as Traveland and Jetset, Wendy Mulry Travel is a Boutique Agency which means I look after every one of my clients personally. I am “appointment-only“ to offer clients complete privacy at a time that suits them.

Contrary to popular belief Travel Agents are not dearer than booking online. In fact, I can never understand why people choose to book with obscure online operators instead of dealing with a travel agent in person face to face. Particularly if there is an unexpected interruption to your holiday while you are overseas. Whether it is caused by a natural disaster or airline cancellation, your travel agent is only a phone call, text or email away.
