I get sick of people saying things are on their 'bucket list'.
What the hell has a bucket got to do with anything in life? I often hear Antarctica is one of those places that is on bucket lists. All I can say is don't make a list. Just get out and do it.
Go there. Breathe in the amazing pristine air, listen to the shrill of Emperor Penguins and hear the ice against the ship's hull. Do the polar plunge, kayak the freezing ocean and trudge in the snow to reach the best vantage point from where you can look down at your ship, and the ragged blue crevasses of a nearby glacier. Then squeal with childish abandon as you slide down a steep icy slope back to base!
