About Cathy Moir

In my yearbook back in year 12, it states “Cathy wants to be a travel agent or a teacher”  I am fortunate to have experienced both these careers and have loved both equally.  In this long career as a travel agent, I have travelled the world and assisted my clients plan the trip of a lifetime.   

This year marks my 40th year in the travel industry and the best decision I made was to join TravelManagers in 2007, giving me the flexibility to work from home whilst raising our family.   My role as a travel manager is to help my leisure and business clients plan and tailor travel arrangements to their specific needs. This is arranged at a time mutually suitable for both myself and my clients.  Alternative arrangements can be made over the phone, email and dare I say it, zoom!   TravelManagers have the support network to assist me in the everyday operation of being a Personal TravelManager.

I am also a specialist Cruise Consultant and have completed training to attain the accreditation of a Cruise Master with Cruising Lines International Association (CLIA).

During lockdown, I have discovered my love of walking and I am now planning small-group walking tours.  The most important part, no carrying packs.
