Travelling in a family group of 7 adults with competing ideas, we chose AOL as a compromise between a large adventure company and a local Tanzanian company. All overseas operators partner with local companies, and AOL's local partner were incredible on the mountain. And what Nate from AOL gave us in the months leading up to the trip was customised preparation. Nate communicated with us regularly as a group & individually on the phone, emails, on Zoom, answering questions, providing checklists, suggesting timelines, support videos & offering suggestions for what we might like to do after our climb. Nate's passion for Tanzania & vision for a better future are demonstrated through AOL’s advocacy & support for local education, sustainable tourism, and female guides. When we climbed Mount Kilimanjaro we learnt about the concept of “pamoja” (together). I feel that AOL embody “pamoja”, both in their work in the local community & with us and supporting us to get us to the top of Kilimanjaro.

AOL's ability to provide an exceptional experience was superb and it is hard to imagine it being any better. The organisation of the climbing of Mt Kilimanjaro, the quality of the local teams we were engaged with, and the ability of Nathan to manage things daily ensured the entire trip was thoroughly enjoyable and worry-free.

Awesome experience with an awesome bunch of people. The logistics of the trip was well thought of and organised with great attention to detail coupled with flawless execution - means a great trip that is SAFE and with high probability of acclimatising so that you have the best chance to get to the summit.Oh. The best part of the trip - the crew. That is from the guides to the porters to the cooks to the guys on toilet duties. Man oh man these guys are a bundle of energy and pure HAPPINESS.Getting to the summit is one small part of the journey. What you will remember are the thousand stories and interactions along that the way. The Tanzanian SMILE is forever embedded in my happy memory. A huge shout out to Nathan for getting this awesome crew together. The best crew on the mountain.

Nate created the honeymoon of our dreams! Busy with wedding planning, we gave Nate full control in planning us a 5 week trip to Kenya and Tanzania... WOW! Every moment was so incredible thanks to Nate's attention to detail, organisation and pure passion for Africa.Our itinerary was the perfect mix of immersion, authentic cultural experiences, adventure, exploration and relaxation. Thanks to Nate's connections, every guide, driver and local person he arranged for us to meet became a quick friend, we felt so safe and looked after every step of the way.The communication was second to none, so friendly and knowledgeable, always available when we needed. It was fantastic waking up each day to the itinerary app, full of clear plans, tips and recommendations - eliminating any possible stress or decision fatigue that can come with overseas travel.Nate went above and beyond to create unique travel experiences, we would highly recommend and will be using him again!

This was an absolute epic holiday and once in a lifetime experience. Nate took care of everything and the entire trip felt personalised to us. From the amazing service while climbing Kilimanjaro to the cultural emersion and safari, Nate did not settle for anything but the best for us. Everything we did also supported one good cause or another. We'll be back and will be giving the highest recommendation to anyone wanting to do any of their trips.

Who would have thought when the idea of an African holiday came up that it would change our life. Most people think of safaris and animals and yes, they were amazing and we were able to get so close to them but the truly incredible experience were the people. Nate has developed a great relationship with people and organisations across Africa and we were lucky to spend time with them. He introduced us to Mirror of Hope, working to educate and train people living in the slum in Nairobi and we now have the privilege of sponsoring some children in Africa to be educated. The small group tour ticked all the boxes. Despite being middle aged we managed the gorilla trek and felt very supported throughout the entire holiday. It was a real adventure. I would do another trip with Nate and highly recommend Adventure Out loud to anyone wanting a real African adventure.

We want to thank Nate and all the team, they ensured that our adventure in Kenya was one of a kind. We felt always heard and they ensured that we were comfortable at all moments. I want to highlight how they managed some small issues we had - always offering us solutions and kindness. From the planning to each person that we met during our adventure, everything was awesome. This was the most amazing experience of my life. The wildlife, the people and the countryside of Kenya, Rwanda and Uganda was mind blowing. My personal highlight was coming face-to-face with gorillas in the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, Uganda. Adventure Out Loud's organisation, professionalism and attention to every detail could not be surpassed. I'm already planning my next adventure with AOL.

I waited nearly 3 years to embark on this experience with Adventure Out Loud and it didn't disappoint. Planning was meticulous and the utmost care was taken at all times. Mount Kilimanjaro was an experience I will never forget and the safaris in Amboseli National Park and Masai Mara in Kenya were fantastic. The variety and number of wild animals was breathtaking. The services provided by Adventure Out Loud left nothing to chance and were world class. I can't recommend them highly enough. I am now planning my next African adventure with them so what are you waiting for?

We had the most amazing experience travelling Tanzania and Kenya with Adventure Out Loud! From climbing Kilimanjaro, safari and experiencing local life our experience was entirely personalised. Nate, founder of AOL, was very supportive through the whole experience and easily contactable for all questions. Not only did we have the trip of a lifetime but 50% of profits go to supporting underprivileged children in going to school.
