This was an absolute epic holiday and once in a lifetime experience. Nate took care of everything, and the entire trip felt personalised to us. From the amazing service while climbing Kilimanjaro to the cultural emersion and safari, Nate did not settle for anything but the best for us. Everything we did also supported one good cause or another. We'll be back and will be giving the highest recommendation to anyone wanting to do any of their trips.

We travelled with Adventure Out Loud and Nate to Kenya, Rwanda and Uganda as part of a small group tour. Nate's love for Africa is infectious - when you join an Adventure Out Loud tour you get to experience the people, places and adventures that make Africa so special. We wouldn't hesitate to join another group tour or have the team plan a private adventure for our family.

Nate has an eye for perfection from introduction, interaction, client dashboard and personal calls. Nate embraced us, his wide-eyed tourists in Nairobi Airport and instantly we were at ease, we knew we had made the right decision to travel with AOL. Everything from Nates abundance of enthusiasm, knowledge and love of Africa and travel. The cultural immersion and connection to local people was very special and something we will treasure. We always felt safe and at ease especially with the skilled drivers on safari, who ensured we ticked off everything on our wish list. Their attention to detail in ensuring I had the best experience in Africa was second to none. My itinerary was well organised and more than I could hope for. If you want a caring, ethical and supportive travel company and an amazing African experience, Adventure Out Loud are the people to speak to. I spent time in Kenya and Tanzania hiking up Mt Kilimanjaro, going on 3 safaris, I trekked up an active volcano, going on a hot air balloon ride over the Maasai Mara, visiting schools and aid organisations, trekked with Jane Goodall’s chimps, and even stayed with a Maasai tribe and more… All organised with the utmost care and professionalism of Adventure Out Load. I simply cannot recommend them highly enough.

We had an incredibly great & breathtaking trip with Adventure Out Loud. With great attention to detail, professionalism, patience & a lot of experience, Nate put together an individual trip for us that really took all of our wishes into account & even exceeded them. The trip through Tanzania was the perfect mix of authentic, local culture & contact with the country & people & of adventure, activity & exploration. Thanks to the contacts through Adventure Out Loud, we always had incredibly helpful & experienced contacts on site & were able to create great connections.In our case it was an incredible to climb of Kilimanjaro, visiting various schools & stay overnight with residents in the village of Meru, impressive safaris, exploring several places with local guides, a trip to the chimpanzees in Gombe & many other great and unforgettable impressions that are definitely for always stay in your heart. Thank you for the great planning & advice and hopefully more trips to Africa will follow.

Nate, the founder of AOL is super organised, friendly and always a message away whenever we had questions. He organised absolutely everything, with very little input needed from us. He puts in a lot of effort to make sure we’re comfortable, everything is running smoothly and anticipates and fixes things even before we realise it’s an inconvenience. I have travelled with AOL in the past and I would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a stress-free trip.Oh and how can I forget the chimp trek in Gombe!! Absolutely trip of a lifetime. Felt safe and cared for the whole way through. Lots of advice with what to pack and how to tip. And the team at Adventure Out Loud absolutely made the trip. 10/10 for sure!!

Started the trip in Kilimanjaro where we met Bobby and John. They helped us pack for our Kili climb. Absolute legends. We embarked on the climb the next day, where we met our happy-go-lucky guides, Peter and Jerry, as well as some of our special porters. The whole staff were always laughing and in good spirits, even with some of the terrible weather we faced. The staff did a good job and they went above and beyond to make us feel cared for, safe and made sure we were making the most of our experience.We also did a safari in Tarangire & Ngorongoro, and visited a small village school and the prestigious School of St Jude. Every step of the way, everything was organised from pick-ups to meals to anything we needed. It was cool to see some of the kids that AOL helps to sponsor and send through school. Half of their profit go to these kids who are sooooo enthusiastic about education. It was so humbling to see them in their classroom, every kid engaged and ready to learn!

Travelling in a family group of 7 adults with competing ideas, we chose AOL as a compromise between a large adventure company and a local Tanzanian company. All overseas operators partner with local companies, and AOL's local partner were incredible on the mountain. And what Nate from AOL gave us in the months leading up to the trip was customised preparation. Nate communicated with us regularly as a group & individually on the phone, emails, on Zoom, answering questions, providing checklists, suggesting timelines, support videos & offering suggestions for what we might like to do after our climb. Nate's passion for Tanzania & vision for a better future are demonstrated through AOL’s advocacy & support for local education, sustainable tourism, and female guides. When we climbed Mount Kilimanjaro we learnt about the concept of “pamoja” (together). I feel that AOL embody “pamoja”, both in their work in the local community & with us and supporting us to get us to the top of Kilimanjaro.

Awesome experience with an awesome bunch of people. The logistics of the trip was well thought of and organised with great attention to detail coupled with flawless execution - means a great trip that is SAFE and with high probability of acclimatising so that you have the best chance to get to the summit.Oh. The best part of the trip - the crew. That is from the guides to the porters to the cooks to the guys on toilet duties. Man oh man these guys are a bundle of energy and pure HAPPINESS.Getting to the summit is one small part of the journey. What you will remember are the thousand stories and interactions along that the way. The Tanzanian SMILE is forever embedded in my happy memory. A huge shout out to Nathan for getting this awesome crew together. The best crew on the mountain.

Who would have thought when the idea of an African holiday came up that it would change our life. Most people think of safaris and animals and yes, they were amazing and we were able to get so close to them but the truly incredible experience were the people. Nate has developed a great relationship with people and organisations across Africa and we were lucky to spend time with them. He introduced us to Mirror of Hope, working to educate and train people living in the slum in Nairobi and we now have the privilege of sponsoring some children in Africa to be educated. The small group tour ticked all the boxes. Despite being middle aged we managed the gorilla trek and felt very supported throughout the entire holiday. It was a real adventure. I would do another trip with Nate and highly recommend Adventure Out loud to anyone wanting a real African adventure.

This was the most amazing experience of my life. The wildlife, the people and the countryside of Kenya, Rwanda and Uganda was mind blowing. My personal highlight was coming face-to-face with gorillas in the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, Uganda. Adventure Out Loud's organisation, professionalism and attention to every detail could not be surpassed. I'm already planning my next adventure with AOL.

I waited nearly 3 years to embark on this experience with Adventure Out Loud and it didn't disappoint. Planning was meticulous and the utmost care was taken at all times. Mount Kilimanjaro was an experience I will never forget and the safaris in Amboseli National Park and Masai Mara in Kenya were fantastic. The variety and number of wild animals was breathtaking. The services provided by Adventure Out Loud left nothing to chance and were world class. I can't recommend them highly enough. I am now planning my next African adventure with them so what are you waiting for?

We had the most amazing experience travelling Tanzania and Kenya with Adventure Out Loud! From climbing Kilimanjaro, safari and experiencing local life our experience was entirely personalised. Nate, founder of AOL, was very supportive through the whole experience and easily contactable for all questions. Not only did we have the trip of a lifetime but 50% of profits go to supporting underprivileged children in going to school.
