About David Smith

I am the Managing Director of Travel on Capri and was born in the U.K. and graduated with a degree in International politics! However, after embarking on an extensive round the world trip I decided that travel was the career path for me. I have been in the industry since 1986, which eventuated into the opening of my own travel agency in 1993 soon after moving to Australia. I am also the Qld representative for the Helloworld advisory council. Ever since I have owned and managed Travel on Capri, my knowledge and love for travel has grown exponentially. I thrive on planning extensive and complex travel itineraries for my valued clients. My clients know they are getting a travel researcher and expert as their agent and specialist. 

My favourite places? Too many to mention but anywhere in Europe is always top of the list. In my spare time you will find me at a music festival somewhere in the world , enjoying live music!
