At Back Track Adventures, we specialise in adventurous holiday destinations all around the world including Small group journeys, expedition cruising, wildlife safaris and tailormade itineraries to some of the most far flung destinations.
My favourite travel experience to date is trekking to see the mountain gorillas of Rwanda. The most magical wildlife experience that I have ever encountered. A second close would be snorkeling in dry-suits, inside the Arctic Circle in Norway with the Orca Whales. A self-confessed foodie, I love South-East Asia’s spices and flavours, having travelled to Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Singapore, Indonesia and most recently India. The vibrancy, smells, sights and colours are fascinating. I have also lived and worked for 2 years in Vancouver, Canada and spent time travelling through Canada and the USA, so it holds a special place in my heart.
In 2023, I was one of 9 finalist in the National Travel Industry Awards for most outstanding Travel Consultant Leisure. Taking the time to really get to know my clients allows me to effectively qualify your needs and expectations to offer you the perfect itinerary without multiple changes. Understanding your style, pace, budget, fitness level and standard of accommodation allows me to ensure the itinerary is the perfect fit for you. No two clients are the same.
In my opinion, Testimonials say it all...here is one for one of my amazing clients:
"First and foremost Emma is a very personable lady who has an easy going personality that results in a wonderful rapport with her clients. She exudes a genuine interest and friendliness that facilitates trust and confidence in her ability to work through often complicated trips and clients' desires and varying budgets. She develops a knowledge of the client such that she can meaningfully suggest aspects of travel that suit their needs and their budget.
As well, Emma is alert to the many pitfalls of airline travel, plane changes, baggage allowances, country requirements, Insurance traps and fine print which keeps clients from needless charges or disastrous possible consequences.
On top of this Emma simply is efficient. She responds to requests and emails in a most timely fashion, books trips with promptness and deals with the often drawn-out aspects of enquiries for clothing, discounts and further information. Emma takes on tasks and offers help beyond what is necessary which thankfully takes a load off the client in many ways. As many travellers are in their "more mature" years this is most appreciated. Nothing seems too hard for Emma to deal with.
Amazingly she always does these things so calmly and with a smile.
You know, I think she enjoys dealing with people - and that makes her special!"
It’s comments like this that make me feel proud to do what I do best!
