Marconi Travel is a family owned and operated business since 1974 specialising in travel to Italy & sporting events mainly football (soccer). I joined my family in the business in 1995. At that time, I was the youngest person to complete our computer system course Galileo aka Travelport at the age of 15 with a result of 100%. I'm currently studying travel & tourism with from IATA with a Havard University degree.
I've travelled to the following countries Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Italy, UK, France, Netherlands, Switzerland, Spain, Mainland USA, Hawaii x7, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia so far and plan on doing a lot more.
For me the best part about travelling is having new cultural experiences. I also plan something special on each and every trip, whether it's something adventurous or a sporting event so that when you look back you'll always remember there was just something added to that trip. Having family that still lives in Italy is always a bonus, as I can use them as my base in Italy and travel around the countryside.
My personal favourite travelling highlights is to Japan & Korea for a Football (Soccer) World Cup including the Finals, Escorting Special Event Group Travel, Watching U2 Live in Concert in Rome, Watching Serie A games in Italy, Watching Live NY Rangers (NHL) in New York Madison Square Gardens x2, Front Row seats to Enrique Iglesias at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Ricky Martin Live at Planet Hollywood Las Vegas. Parasailing in Malaysia, Surf Lessons in Hawaii, dining in the Grotto Palazzese and plenty more.
I love travelling in luxury, I'm a firm believer that you go on holidays to be staying in similar or better than what you have at home. Spend the money on a central location, you'll save yourself transportation costs and you'll have extra time to explore the city you are in.
