Danny Englman is currently the Joint Managing Director at FBI Travel, he currently heads up both the Leisure Team and the Independent Contractors affiliated with FBI Travel. In 2017 he was voted as the “Best Travel Agency Manager” in Australia by AFTA in the NTIA (National Travel Industry Awards)
Starting his Travel Career in 2004, Danny graduated from William Angliss college and took on a number of roles in the industry before eventually getting a job at FBI Travel in 2006 as a Travel Advisor. After six years as an advisor Danny became the manager of the Leisure Team in 2012 and then a year later took charge of the then small Independent Contractor team as well. The focus at the time was on growth coupled with uncompromising excellence in service to clients.
Today FBI Travel is recognised as one of the most awarded premier Luxury Travel Agencies in Australia. Voted for by clients and suppliers alike, FBI Travel has been awarded Best Luxury Travel Agency in Australia by Luxury Travel Magazine for four years in a row, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018. Best Travel Agency Retail by AFTA at the 2017 NTIA Awards, "Most Hospitable Agency" in Asia/Pacific by Virtuoso in their 2019 global awards and a finalist in the Luminaries, Legends & Leaders 2021 Virtuoso Travel Awards.
Danny has previously been a member of the Virtuoso Advisory Board implementing the current setup of the membership model for Virtuoso in Australia and is currently on their COVID19 Collaboration team. He is also an honorary Advisory Board member for Tauck Tours and the Luxperience Trade Show.
Trained in emergency medicine, Danny is also an active volunteer with Hatzolah, a local community emergency response team working closely with Ambulance Victoria to treat patients in need.
