I have a great passion for travel and the experiences and memories you create along the way. My travel bug started early with holidays in the family car and at school, I was a geography nerd, I knew where all the countries were even earning a gold star for one project.
I have travelled extensively over the years and included cruising oceans and rivers, coach touring, train travel, car/campervan, hiking travel to name a few.
I had a 3 month sabbatical in Switzerland in my ancestor's village, rode a Vespa through Tuscany, piloted a boat on the canal du midi in France and saw the fabulous Nadaam Festival in Mongolia while travelling on the Trans Mongolian Rail Journey. I've travelled by campervan in New Zealand and on the Meerinie Loop road in a High top 4WD camper in central Australia. I have hiked in Aboriginal lands with indigenous guides on the Wukalina Walk in the Bay of Fires, Tasmania.
