After working for almost a decade with The Flight Centre Travel Group, J (otherwise known as Sophie deLightful) was made redundant as Covid-19 ground the travel industry to a halt in 2020.
Thankfully, FCTG has evolved its business model so that it is now possible to be a travel agent once again, but with all the flexibility and independence she needs to continue her creative endeavours with Sophie deLightful Presents (including Curbside Carnies, GLOW Fest and Circus of Light).
To put it simply, she is now a sub-contractor with FCTG and can access all their deals, even use their gift cards with customers - but remain independent to run her business how she sees fit - the place to find awesome travel deals, information about your next destination and suggestions for where to go next.
She works as a remote agent so all she needs is a laptop and wi-fi to sort out your travel plans. No more 9-5 Monday-Friday, she can fit around your schedule!
