What do you think of a 15-course degustation meal at the North Pole?
I founded Adventure Abroad because for a long time, adventure travel had been associated with roughing it through cold, wet and uncomfortable conditions. We were always told that was just part of the experience and was sold as ‘character building’. After a career in the AFL with the Geelong Cats, I was hiking towards Mt Everest with a friend and we’d been talking about the opportunities of creating experiences that weren’t limited by our imagination, where anything was possible. Tragically, on this same trip my mate passed away in my arms. I founded Adventure Abroad so that people could experience adventure in remote and beautiful parts of the world with uncompromising levels of luxury and safety.
Adventure Abroad specialises in the European Alps and Tour du Mont Blanc offering extremely tailored experiences for private groups and travel companies. It's our job to make all the obstacles in the way of your perfect itinerary insignificant. Our guides are recognised International Mountain Leaders and members of the Union of International Mountain Leader Association, a legal requirement for operating in the European Alps.
I have trekked, ridden my bike and hosted events for celebrities, Fortune 500 companies all around the world and Chamonix in the European Alps is a place Adventure Abroad loves to call home. Let us show you why!

My wife and I completed the Kokoda Track with Tom and his team at Adventure Abroad for The Cancer Council Tasmania. The trek was challenging, but Tom was very supportive and the whole team made us feel safe.I would highly recommend Adventure Abroad for their professionalism, ethical practices and world class itineraries.
